Steps

  1. Cast Walking Ballista by paying one generic mana, causing it to enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  2. Activate Together Forever by paying one generic mana, targeting Walking Ballista.
  3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Walking Ballista, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  4. When Walking Ballista dies, Together Forever triggers, returning Walking Ballista from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Repeat.

Notes

  1. If you control an additional artifact, this combo will net infinite colorless mana, and you will pay zero mana in step 1. Once you have infinite mana, you can use it to cast Walking Ballista, and then remove counters from it to deal damage.
