Steps

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the creature with Avacyn's Collar attached, adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  2. When the creature dies, Avacyn's Collar triggers, creating a 1/1 Spirit creature token.
  3. Activate Avacyn's Collar's equip ability by paying ({2} magic symbol)  , attaching it to the Spirit token.
  4. Repeat.
