Initial Card State

Easy Prerequisites

  1. You control another untapped nontoken Merfolk.

Steps

  1. Activate Kumena's first ability by tapping another nontoken Merfolk you control.
  2. Deeproot Pilgrimage triggers, creating a 1/1 Merfolk creature token.
  3. Resolve the Kumena ability.
  4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Merfolk token.
  5. When the Merfolk dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all Merfolk.
  6. Repeat.

Notes

  1. You can tap as many nontoken Merfolk as able each iteration by repeating steps 1 through 3 for each Merfolk. They will all be untapped by Faces of the Past.
