Steps

  1. Activate

    Ashnod's Altar     by sacrificing
    Puppeteer Clique
    Puppeteer Clique    , adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  2. Puppeteer Clique
    Puppeteer Clique     dies, triggering its persist ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
