Steps
- Activate Relic of Legends by tapping your commander, adding ({B} magic symbol) .
- Your commander triggers, giving it +2/+0 and undying until end of turn.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing your commander, adding ({C} magic symbol) ({C} magic symbol) .
- When your commander dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
- Activate Fain's second ability by tapping it and removing the +1/+1 counter from your commander, creating a Treasure artifact token.
- Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding ({1} magic symbol) .
- Activate Fain's fourth ability by paying ({3} magic symbol) ({B} magic symbol) , untapping it.
- Repeat.
