Steps

  1. Activate Spike Breeder's second ability by paying ({2} magic symbol)   and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Spike creature token.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Spike, adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  3. When the Spike dies, Death's Presence triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Spike Breeder.
  4. Repeat.
