Prerequisites

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield.
  2. A creature you control has at least one +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. ({2} magic symbol)   available.

Steps

  1. Activate
    Ghave, Guru of Spores
    Ghave    's first ability by paying ({1} magic symbol)   and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
  2. When the Saproling enters the battlefield,
    Tribute to the World Tree
    Tribute to the World Tree     triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on the Saproling.
  3. Activate
    Ghave, Guru of Spores
    Ghave    's first ability by paying ({1} magic symbol)   and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control.
  4. Holding priority, activate
    Ashnod's Altar
    Ashnod's Altar     by sacrificing the Saproling, adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  5. Resolve the
    Ghave, Guru of Spores
    Ghave     ability, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
  6. Repeat from step 2.
  7. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Saproling tokens, and you may either use the remaining +1/+1 counters for
    Ghave, Guru of Spores
    Ghave    's first ability and/or sacrifice the Saprolings to
    Ghave, Guru of Spores
    Ghave    's second ability.

Results

  1. Infinite +1/+1 counters.
  2. Infinite colorless mana.
  3. Infinite creature tokens.
  4. Infinite death triggers.
