- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy spell, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Ancestral Statue that's still an artifact.
- When Machine God's Effigy enters the battlefield, it triggers.
- Holding priority, activate Machine God's Effigy by tapping it, adding ({U} magic symbol) .
- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy trigger from step 5, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.

- Repeat.
