Initial Card State

  1.  Ghostly Flicker in hand.
  2.  Mindsplice Apparatus and Izzet Chronarch on the battlefield.

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Mindsplice Apparatus has at least two oil counters on it.
  2. You control a permanent that enters the battlefield untapped and can tap to produce at least ({U} magic symbol)  .

Steps

  1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding ({U} magic symbol)  .
  2. Cast Ghostly Flicker by paying ({U} magic symbol)  , blinking Izzet Chronarch and the mana-producing permanent.
  3. When Izzet Chronarch enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Ghostly Flicker to your hand from your graveyard.
  4. Repeat.
