Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a creature, adding one mana of any color.
  2. When the creature dies, Relic Vial and Havoc Jester trigger.
  3. Resolve the Relic Vial trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
  4. Resolve the Havoc Jester trigger, dealing 1 damage to you.
  5. Darien triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
  6. Repeat.
