Notable Prerequisites

  1. You have at least one creature card in hand.
  2. You control a permanent that can tap to produce at least one black mana.

Steps

  1. Activate a mana-producing permanent by tapping it, adding at least one black mana.
  2. Activate Mind over Matter by discarding a creature card.
  3. Confessor triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
  4. Veinwitch Coven triggers, causing you to pay one black mana to return the creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Mind over Matter ability, untapping the mana-producing permanent.
  6. Repeat.

  1. Infinite lifegain.
  2. Infinite lifegain triggers.
  3. Infinite self-discard triggers.
