Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Cast Acererak by paying two generic manaone black mana reduced by Animar.
  2. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. When Acererak enters, its first ability triggers.
  4. Holding priority, activate Relic of Legends' second ability by tapping Acererak, adding one black mana.
  5. Resolve the Acererak trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand, and venturing into Lost Mine of Phandelver.
  6. Repeat.

Notes

  1. The cost can be reduced by at most three generic mana if Animar starts with +1/+1 counters on it.
