Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Cast Lonis either from your hand or from the command zone by paying ({1} magic symbol)  ({GU} magic symbol)  ({GU} magic symbol)   plus commander tax, if applicable.
  2. Holding priority, cast Double Major by paying ({G} magic symbol)  ({U} magic symbol)  , creating a nonlegendary copy of the Lonis spell.
  3. Resolve both Lonis spells.
  4. Activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing a Clue.
  5. Lonis and the Lonis token's second abilities trigger.
  6. Resolve the nontoken Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the token Lonis.
  7. The token Lonis's first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
  8. When the Clue enters the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers, untapping Grinding Station.
  9. Resolve the token Lonis's trigger from step 2, putting a +1/+1 counter on the nontoken Lonis.
  10. The nontoken Lonis's first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
  11. When the Clue enters the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers, untapping Grinding Station.
  12. Resolve the Grinding Station ability.
  13. Repeat from step 4.

Notes

  1. You may optionally target any other creature using one of the triggers to put infinite +1/+1 counters on that creature.

Results

  1. Infinite mill.
  2. Infinite self-mill.
  3. Infinite Clue tokens.
  4. Infinite +1/+1 counters on creatures you control.
