Initial Card State

  1.  Strong Back and Retraction Helix in hand.
  2.  All other permanents on the battlefield (Devoted Druid without summoning sickness).

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Devoted Druid has an Aura attached to it.

Mana Needed

  1. ({2} magic symbol)  ({G} magic symbol)  ({U} magic symbol)  ({U} magic symbol)   available.

Steps

  1. Cast Retraction Helix by paying ({U} magic symbol)  , targeting Devoted Druid.
  2. Ivy triggers. Choose not to copy Retraction Helix.
  3. Resolve Retraction Helix.
  4. Cast Strong Back by paying ({2} magic symbol)  ({G} magic symbol)  , targeting Devoted Druid.
  5. Ivy triggers, copying Strong Back twice due to Twinning Staff. Choose to have one copy target Ivy and the other copy target Devoted Druid.
  6. Resolve all three Strong Backs, attaching one to Ivy and two to Devoted Druid.
  7. Activate Devoted Druid using the ability given to it by Retraction Helix by tapping it, returning the nontoken Strong Back from the battlefield to your hand.
  8. Activate Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
  9. Activate Devoted Druid's first ability by tapping it, adding ({G} magic symbol)  .
  10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 two additional times, then repeat step 8 one additional time.
  11. Repeat from step 4.

Notes

  1. You can start the combo without Devoted Druid having an Aura attached to it if you provide an additional ({2} magic symbol)   to start. If you do this, during step 10, only repeat the steps as able until Devoted Druid has toughness equal to 1 and is untapped. Then move to step 11.

Results

  1. Infinite power and toughness for certain creatures.
  2. Infinite storm count.
