- When the Tentacle enters the battlefield, Gossip's Talent's first ability triggers, causing you to surveil 1.
- Matoya triggers, causing you to draw a card.
- Nadir Kraken triggers. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding ({C} magic symbol) ({C} magic symbol) .
- Resolve the Nadir Kraken trigger, causing you to pay ({1} magic symbol) to put a +1/+1 counter on it and create a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- Repeat from step 5.
