Initial Card State

  1.  Irenicus's Vile Duplication and Quantum Misalignment in hand.
  2.  Krark and Storm-Kiln Artist on the battlefield.

Notable Prerequisites

  1. This combo has a chance of failure based on the amount of starting mana you have and your first few coin flips.
  2. It may take significantly more or less mana than the amount shown.
  3. See the widget below for calculations.

Mana Needed

  1. seven generic manaone blue manaone blue mana available.

Steps

  1. Cast Irenicus's Vile Duplication by paying its mana cost, targeting Krark.
  2. When you cast Irenicus's Vile Duplication, Krark, any additional copies of Krark, and Storm-Kiln Artist trigger.
  3. Resolve the Storm-Kiln Artist trigger, creating a Treasure token.
  4. Activate a Treasure token by tapping and sacrificing it, adding one mana of any color..
  5. Resolve a Krark trigger, flipping a coin and returning the Irenicus's Vile Duplication card to your hand if you lose and copying it if you win.
  6. If you copy Irenicus's Vile Duplication, Storm-Kiln Artist triggers again, causing you to repeat steps 3 to 4.
  7. Repeat steps 5—6 for each Krark trigger.
  8. If Irenicus's Vile Duplication is back in your hand, repeat from step 1.
  9. If you won every flip, instead resolve the Irenicus's Vile Duplication card itself, creating one more Krark token and putting the card into your graveyard.
  10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 with Quantum Misalignment, if you still need more Krark copies.
  11. If you manage to pass a critical threshold of Krark copies before both Irenicus's Vile Duplication and Quantum Misalignment end up in your graveyard, this combo is overwhelmingly likely to be an infinite loop from that point on. See the widget below for failure chances.
  12. Once you have infinite mana and infinite copies of Krark, you can repeat this loop with any instant or sorcery you can cast.

Results

  1. Infinite artifact ETB.
  2. Infinite artifact LTB.
  3. Infinite copies of creatures you control.
  4. Infinite copies of instant or sorcery spells you cast.
  5. Infinite magecraft triggers.
  6. Infinite storm count.
