Initial Card State

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Fool's Demise attached to Great Whale.
  2. You control up to seven lands that can tap to produce at least two generic manaone blue mana.

Steps

  1. Activate up to seven lands by tapping them, adding at least two generic manaone blue mana.
  2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Great Whale, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  3. Fool's Demise's first and second abilities trigger.
  4. Resolve the first Fool's Demise trigger, returning Great Whale from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  5. When Great Whale enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to seven lands.
  6. Resolve the second Fool's Demise trigger, returning Fool's Demise to your hand from your graveyard.
  7. Cast Fool's Demise by paying four generic manaone blue mana, targeting Great Whale.
  8. Repeat.
  9. If the seven lands can tap to produce at least three generic manaone blue mana, this combo nets infinite mana.
