Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Goblin Engineer without summoning sickness).

Notable Prerequisites

  1. You control a nontoken artifact creature with mana value 3 or less.
  2. You have an artifact creature card in your graveyard with mana value 3 or less.

Steps

  1. Activate Goblin Engineer by paying ({R} magic symbol)  , tapping it and sacrificing a nontoken artifact creature with mana value 3 or less, targeting another artifact creature with mana value 3 or less in your graveyard.
  2. When the artifact creature dies, Goblin Engineer and Crime Novelist triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it and adding ({R} magic symbol)  .
  3. Resolve the Goblin Engineer ability, returning the targeted artifact creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  4. When the artifact creature enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  5. Repeat.
