Initial Card State

Notable Prerequisites

  1. You control a nontoken creature with mana value five or greater.
  2. Illuminor Szeras does not have summoning sickness.

Steps

  1. Activate Illuminor Szeras by tapping it and sacrificing Dross Scorpion or another artifact creature with mana value four or greater, adding at least ({B} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)  .
  2. When the creature dies, Nim Deathmantle and Dross Scorpion trigger.
  3. Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger, causing you to pay ({4} magic symbol)   to return the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  4. Resolve the Dross Scorpion trigger, untapping Illuminor Szeras.
  5. Repeat.
