Initial Card State

Notable Prerequisites

  1. You control a nontoken creature with mana value eight or greater.
  2. Illuminor Szeras does not have summoning sickness.
  3. Umbral Mantle attached to Illuminor Szeras.

Steps

  1. Activate Illuminor Szeras by tapping it and sacrificing another creature with mana value eight or greater, adding at least eight ({B} magic symbol)  .
  2. When the creature dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay ({4} magic symbol)   to return the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  3. Activate Illuminor Szeras by paying ({3} magic symbol)   and untapping it, giving it +2/+2 until end of turn.
  4. Repeat.

  2. Infinite death triggers.
