Steps

  3. Nadir Kraken triggers.
  4. Resolve the Nadir Kraken trigger, paying ({1} magic symbol)   to put a +1/+1 counter on Nadir Kraken and creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
  5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Tentacle, adding ({1} magic symbol)  .
