Color Identity: R

Cards

  1. Krark, the Thumbless
  2. Mirror Box
  3. Relic of Legends
  4. 2x Instant/Sorcery that Copies a Legendary Creature You Control without Bypassing Legend Rule

Initial Card State

  1.  2x Instant/Sorcery that Copies a Legendary Creature You Control without Bypassing Legend Rule in hand.
  2.  All other permanents on the battlefield.

Notable Prerequisites

  1. This combo has a chance of failure based on the amount of starting mana you have and your first few coin flips.
  2. See the widget below for calculations.

Mana Needed

  1. two generic mana plus a variable additional amount available.

Steps

  1. Activate Relic of Legends's second ability by tapping an untapped legendary creature you control, adding one mana.
  2. Repeat until there are no more available creatures to tap.
  3. Cast the first creature-copying spell, targeting Krark.
  4. When you cast it, Krark and any additional copies of Krark trigger.
  5. Resolve all Krark triggers, copying that spell for each flip you won, and returning that spell to your hand as long as you lost at least one flip.
  6. Resolve each copy of that spell, creating a token copy of Krark each time.
  7. If that spell is back in your hand, repeat from step 1.
  8. If you won every flip, instead resolve the spell itself, creating one more Krark token and putting the spell into your graveyard.
  9. Repeat steps 1 through 8 with the second creature-copying spell.
  10. If you manage to pass a critical threshold of Krark copies before both spells end up in your graveyard, this combo is overwhelmingly likely to be an infinite loop from that point on. See the widget below for failure chances.
  11. Once you have infinite mana and infinite copies of Krark, you can repeat this loop with any instant or sorcery you can cast.

Results

  1. Infinite colored mana.
  2. Infinite copies of creatures you control.
  3. Infinite copies of instant or sorcery spells you cast.
  4. Infinite magecraft triggers.
  5. Infinite storm count.
