Steps

  1. Activate
    Ashnod's Altar
    Ashnod's Altar     by sacrificing
    Spark Double
    Spark Double    , adding ({C} magic symbol)  ({C} magic symbol)  .
  2. When
    Spark Double
    Spark Double     dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  3. As
    Spark Double
    Spark Double     enters the battlefield, choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of
    Lesser Masticore
    Lesser Masticore     with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  4. Repeat.
