Steps

  2. Cast Peregrine Drake by paying four generic manaone blue mana plus an additional two generic mana for its offspring cost.
  3. When Peregrine Drake enters the battlefield, it triggers twice.
  4. Resolve the first Peregrine Drake trigger, untapping up to five lands.
  5. Holding priority, activate up to five lands by tapping them, adding at least three generic manaone white manaone blue mana.
  6. Resolve the second Peregrine Drake trigger, creating a token copy of it that is 1/1.
  7. When the Peregrine Drake token enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping up to five lands.
  8. Activate Meticulous Excavation by paying two generic manaone white mana, returning the nontoken Peregrine Drake from the battlefield to your hand.
  9. Repeat.
