Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Marath with two or more +1/+1 counters on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Marath by paying ({1} magic symbol)   and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Elemental creature token.
  2. Ivy Lane Denizen triggers, causing you to put a +1/+1 counter on Marath.
  3. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing the Elemental, adding ({R} magic symbol)  .
  4. Repeat.
