Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield.

Notable Prerequisites

  1. Codie does not have summoning sickness. You have at least two opponents.
  2. Opponents have lost at least 3 life this turn plus an additional 2 life for each time you've cast Codie from the command zone this game, minus 1 life for each opponent you have beyond the second.

Mana Needed

  1. ({4} magic symbol)   available.

Steps

  1. Activate Codie by paying ({4} magic symbol)   and tapping it, adding ({W} magic symbol)  ({U} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)  ({R} magic symbol)  ({G} magic symbol)  .
  2. Activate Lampad of Death's Vigil by paying ({1} magic symbol)   and sacrificing Codie.
  3. Choose to return Codie to the command zone from your graveyard.
  4. Resolve the Lampad of Death's Vigil trigger, causing each opponent to lose 1 life and you to gain 1 life.
  5. Cast Codie from the command zone by paying ({0} magic symbol)   due to Rakdos.
  6. Repeat.
  7. NOTE: This combo ends once you have one opponent remaining, as the lifeloss from Lampad of Death's Vigil no longer covers Codie's increased commander tax.
  8. However, you may be able to get more iterations if you started the combo with three or more opponents, as Rakdos will decrease Codie's cost by ({3} magic symbol)  , outpacing the ({2} magic symbol)   from commander tax, until you have two or less opponents.
  9. Once you have a large number of Codie triggers, you may cast any instant or sorcery by paying its mana cost.
  10. Codie triggers for each time you activated its ability.
  11. Resolve the first trigger, causing you to exile cards from the top of your library until you exile an instant or sorcery spell with lesser mana value, and allowing you to cast that spell without paying its mana cost.
  12. Repeat step 11 for each remaining trigger.
