Initial Card State

  1.  Infested Thrinax in hand.
  2.  Gravewaker and Phyrexian Altar on the battlefield.

Mana Needed

Steps

  1. Cast Infested Thrinax by paying three generic manaone black manaone green mana.
  2. When Infested Thrinax enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to create a number of 1/1 Saproling creature tokens when a nontoken creature you control dies.
  3. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Infested Thrinax, adding one black mana.
  4. When Infested Thrinax dies, it triggers for each time it entered the battlefield this turn, creating a number of 1/1 Saproling creature tokens equal to its power for each trigger.
  5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a Saproling, adding one black mana.
  6. Repeat step 5 until you either control no Saprolings, or until you have five generic manaone black manaone black mana available, whichever comes first.
  7. Activate Gravewaker by paying five generic manaone black manaone black mana, returning Infested Thrinax from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
  8. Repeat from step 2.
