Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Myr Moonvessel, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  2. When Myr Moonvessel dies, it and Nim Deathmantle triggers twice.
  3. Resolve both Myr Moonvessel triggers, adding one colorless manaone colorless mana.
  4. Resolve the first Nim Deathmantle trigger, choosing not to pay.
  5. Resolve the second Nim Deathmantle trigger, causing you to pay four generic mana to return Myr Moonvessel from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
  6. Repeat.
