Initial Card State
- All permanents on the battlefield (Pentavus with two +1/+1 counters on it).
Steps
- Activate Brass Infiniscope by tapping it, adding
. - Activate Pentavus's first ability by paying
and removing a +1/+1 counter from it, creating a 1/1 Pentavite creature token. - Activate Pentavus's second ability by paying and sacrificing the Pentavite.
- When the Pentavite dies, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping Brass Infiniscope.
- Resolve the Pentavus ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
- Repeat.
Notes
- Each activation of Brass Infiniscope adds a delayed triggered ability that can draw you cards and gain life if you cast a spell with
in its cost. If you wish to use these abilities, you'll want to stop the combo before getting too many triggers such that you'll deck yourself and lose the game. To gain life, you must spend at least 
for X when casting the spell.
