Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu as Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and Pentavus without a -1/-1 counter on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Pentavus.
  2. When Pentavus dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
  3. Repeat.

Notes

  1. Each loop, you can use mana from the previous loop and remove a +1/+1 counter from Pentavus to make creature tokens.
