Initial Card State

  1.  All permanents on the battlefield (Eirdu as Isilu, Carrier of Twilight and Flayer of the Hatebound without a +1/+1 counter on it ).

Steps

  1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Flayer of the Hatebound.
  2. When Flayer of the Hatebound dies, its undying ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  3. When Flayer of the Hatebound enters, it triggers, dealing damage equal to its power to any target.
  4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Flayer of the Hatebound.
  5. When Flayer of the Hatebound dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  6. When Flayer of the Hatebound enters, it triggers, dealing damage equal to its power to any target.
  7. Resolve both Altar of Dementia abilities from step 1 and 4.
  8. Repeat.

Notes

  1. If Flayer of the Hatebound starts with a +1/+1 counter on it, then you may start the combo from step 4 instead.
