Initial Card State

  1.  Scrap Trawler in your graveyard.
  2.  All other permanents on the battlefield (Animar with three or more +1/+1 counters on it).

Steps

  1. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Myr Retriever, adding ({1} magic symbol)  .
  2. When Myr Retriever dies, it triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to your hand.
  3. Cast Scrap Trawler by paying its mana cost, which is reduced by Animar.
  4. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  5. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Scrap Trawler, adding ({1} magic symbol)  .
  6. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Myr Retriever from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Cast Myr Retriever by paying its mana cost, which is reduced by Animar.
  8. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
  9. Repeat.

  1. Infinite +1/+1 counters on a creature.

  4. Infinite death triggers.
