Initial Card State

Steps

  1. Cast Songs of the Damned by paying ({B} magic symbol)  , adding ({B} magic symbol)   for each creature card in your graveyard.
  2. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying ({1} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)  .
  3. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get ({E} magic symbol)  ({E} magic symbol)  ({E} magic symbol)  .
  4. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying ({E} magic symbol)  ({E} magic symbol)  ({E} magic symbol)  , sacrificing a creature with mana value 3 or less and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning Skullwinder from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  5. When Skullwinder enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Songs of the Damned from your graveyard to your hand and causing an opponent to return a card to their hand from their graveyard.
  6. Cast Chthonian Nightmare by paying ({1} magic symbol)  ({B} magic symbol)  .
  7. When Chthonian Nightmare enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to get ({E} magic symbol)  ({E} magic symbol)  ({E} magic symbol)  .
  8. Activate Chthonian Nightmare by paying an amount of ({E} magic symbol)  , sacrificing Skullwinder and returning Chthonian Nightmare from the battlefield to your hand, returning a creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  9. Repeat.
