Steps

  1. Activate

    Ashnod's Altar     by sacrificing

  2. When
    Spark Double
    Spark Double     dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
  3. As
    Spark Double
    Spark Double     enters the battlefield, choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of
    River Kelpie
    River Kelpie     with a +1/+1 counter on it.
  4. When
    Spark Double
    Spark Double     enters the battlefield, it and
    River Kelpie
    River Kelpie    's first abilities trigger.
  5. Resolve both triggers, causing you to draw two cards.
  6. Repeat.
